Sunday, January 29 - Fourth Sunday after Epiphany:
Who are the blessed ones of God? For Micah, they are those who do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God. For Paul, they are the ones who find wisdom in the weakness of the cross. For Jesus, they are the poor, the meek, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers, those who mourn, and those who hunger for righteousness. In baptism we find our blessed identity and calling in this countercultural way of living and serving.

Grace Church will offer a series of 5 adult Bible Classes on the topic “Men and Women of Faith in the Book of Genesis” beginning Sunday, March 5 and continues every other Sunday until the end of April. Classes will be held in the Choir Room following worship. Sessions led by Paul Buelow will look at the lives and personalities of people such as Abraham and Sarah; Isaac and Rebekah; Jacob, Rachel and Esau; and Jacob’s twelve sons and daughter Dinah. Attention will be given to historical and cultural contexts as we try to understand how God uses human beings in his plan of salvation. All are welcome.
